Ludicrous ways to a moment of truth

I was once told that a thousand doves were not good enough
Those, a thousand years would fall short, making it tough
A thousand rivers couldn’t suffice, riding with full force
To make a single moment worth a lifetime’s course

To wonder why, always a prudent is thought.
Madness survived, for emotions overwrought.
Acting stupid through frivolous ways.
Hoping a dope it would be for all the days .

Through  surreal weather, I was striding ahead
Had no answers, nor reasons in my head
The west-wind moved against my face
Never did I greet an enemy, with such an embrace

Now I know why angels dived and died
Now I know why kingdoms fell with the tide
Now I know the madness and its cause
Now I know the moment that never was.
